1. Book Your Chosen Date
Choose from available dates in September, October or November 2024. I only see one client per day, so you'll have the entire studio to yourself.
2. Be Pampered
You'll arrive to a calm, welcoming space and enjoy full professional hair and makeup before the shoot begins.
3. The Shoot
You’ll be gently guided through every pose — no experience needed. This is about helping you feel confident, seen, and celebrated.
4. Same-Day Image Reveal
After your shoot, we’ll sit down together and view your stunning images. You’ll choose your favourites and select the artwork you’d love to keep.
5. Flexible Payment Options
Choose from my artwork collections and take advantage of interest-free payment plans if you'd like to spread the cost.

I have hated having my photo taken since being a small child ,and having had a huge menopausal " I feel invisible " period, I booked a photoshoot ( theoretically for my husbands Christmas present but realistically this was as much for my confidence as him ) again I never wear make up and feel wrong in it but my hair and make up were done sensitively and made me look much more polished and finished. The actual shoot was actually quite relaxing direction was really good and a good giggle, so much I forgot there was actually a camera involved....and I was never asked my dreaded phrase " now just smile ," I've now seen the photos and I shouldn't boast but I look amazing.....I see all the good bits of me ,instead of picking out all the faults .....I feel amazing, empowered and proud of myself again.....but most importantly SEEN .

About Your Photographer

Hey lovely, I’m Julie – boudoir photographer, confidence cheerleader, straight-talker, and proud owner of a no-BS attitude when it comes to how women see themselves.

I’ve been photographing women for over 21 years now, from my peaceful luxury studio just outside Romsey in Hampshire. And in that time, I’ve seen it all – the nerves, the doubts, the “I’m too old / too wobbly / not photogenic” panic. Trust me, you’re not alone.

What you might not know? I’ve had all those same thoughts too. I’m in my 60s now, and honestly, I’ve never felt more powerful. More “me.” These days I’ve got a ‘can-do’ mindset and a zero-tolerance policy for anything (or anyone) that doesn’t make me feel good. Life’s too short for filters, fakery, or waiting until you think you’re ‘ready.’ Spoiler alert: you already are.

That’s what a boudoir experience at Lone Barn is all about. It’s not about chasing perfection – it’s about celebrating everything you are right now. Your story. Your strength. Your sass.

When women arrive, they’re often nervous – sometimes terrified – but they leave like they’ve just remembered who the hell they are. It’s not just about the gorgeous images (though you will look sensational), it’s about the shift. The way you walk out of here taller, cheekier, and with that little glint in your eye that says, “Yes, that’s me.”

I’ve photographed hundreds of women – from 30 to 70+, post-breakup, post-baby, post-cancer, mid-menopause, mid-meltdown – and every single one of them had something in common: they were braver than they realised.
